Who am I? That is always a hard question for me to answer.
I have very varied interests. I hold degrees in Religious Studies, English Literature and Elementary Education. Yet most recently I found my education skills being used to teach adults how to use computers to better their employment opportunities. Who would have thought of that? Not me!
I am creative daily. It could be sitting down to quilt, scrapbook (both paper and digital) or write. Or it can be on the go, playing with my girls as they learn through role playing songs and stories. I am also creative in my work whether it is creating materials for a weekly bulletin, teaching materials, a website or different types of publications.
I am a wife of over 15 years, a mother to four daughters. Having lost our first daughter when she was 37 months old, my husband and I belong to a club that no one wants to belong to. Our life with her has definitely given us a different perspective on life than what we would have had without her joy in our lives. We see her in a part of each of her younger sisters as they grow up and become their own person.
I continue to strive to find God’s purpose for my life every day. Helping others by using my skills and creativity is something that allows me to fulfill other areas of my life.
